The Healing Christ by S D Gordon (Marshall Pickering, £2.25). Another reissue in the series mentioned previously this time dealing with healing.
Sing God a Simple Song by Betty Pulkingham (Marshall Pickering, £2,25). A Practical guide to making the most of music in worship, by the compiler of the hymnbook "Sound of Living Waters".
Short Prayers for School 'Assemblies and Other Occasions by Charles Johnson (Mowbray, £2.50). A collection of short prayers for use with young people. They may be used at school or on parish occasions. Contains a useful subject index.
I Am with You by John Woolley (Fount, £2.95). A series of meditations on biblical quotations aimed at bringing comfort and help to those who are troubled.
Prayer Pilgrimage With Paul by Rea McDonnell, SSND (Fowler Wright, £4.20). Written by the author of "Prayer Pilgrimage Through Scripture" this book is aimed at all who wish to better understand St Paul. The book contains passages from St Paul, questions for reflection and exercises for groups.
Making Peace — Prayers in Pictures by Sister Marjorie Anne, CSMV (Arthur H Stockwell, £1.70), An illustrated series of meditations on the "Way of the Cross".

The Manual of Life by M Basil Pennington OCSO (Fowler Wright, £4.20). A series of meditations on the New Testament by the author of Daily We Touch Him.
One World by John Polkinghorne (SPCK, £4.50). Writing as both scientist and priest the author challenges the idea that religion and science oppose one another and attempts to show that they should b e seen as complementary.
A History of Religious Ideas Vol 3 by Mircea Eliade (The University of Chicago Press, £23.50). A distinguished scholar traces the development of the three great religions of the West and provides a source of unique insights into the major changes in world religions and the religious experience.
