Londoners to see Popemobile
LONDONERS will be able to greet the Pope as he passes through the city in his Popemobile, organisers of the visit have confirmed.
Fr Roger Taylor, papal visit co-ordinator for the Westminster diocese, said he hoped that “a lot of people will be able to see [the Pope] en route”. The Popemobile is a fortified white Mercedes with a glass-enclosed “room” that allows crowds to see the Pope more easily.
