Please pray for the repose of the soul of John Edwards who died on May 3,2006 from motor neurone disease, writes Daphne McLeod.
All Catholics in this country owe John and his wife Marion an enormous debt of gratitude for the wonderful work they have carried out since 1977 with Christus Vincit Productions and the Pro Fide Forum.
John used his skills as a gifted musician to record these talks on audio tapes so they could be distributed throughout the country.
No one knows how many people have learnt to understand the Faith better from these tapes and, understanding better, have been led to greater devotion and zeal. The list of speakers includes many great minds of the last century who, thanks to John, can I I I givc us their teaching because we can now obtain sonic of John's tapes from Howard Walsh

However, nothing can take the place of John himself. a man whose great love for our Blessed Lord, His Holy Mother and the Church overflowed into all his personal relationships so that it can be truly said that all who knew him felt his loving warmth and his great kindness.
He will be sadly missed by his ninny friends as well as by the Church in this country.
