Two new bishops have been appointed. Mgr. Eugene O'Callaghan, P.P., V.G., Drogheda—known throughout Ireland as Vice-Postulator of the Cause of Blessed Oliver Plunket—goes from the archdiocese of Armagh to the See of Clogher, vacant for the last year.
Canon Cohalan, P.P., St. Finbarr's, Cork. nephew of the Bishop of Cork, goes to Watet ford and Lismore, vacated by the recent appointment of Dr. Kelleher as Co-adjutor to the Archbishop of Cashel.
