Changes in Leicester

Owing to the large increase in the Catholic population of Aylestone and Wigston, two of Leicester's outlying districts, the Bishop of Nottingham has decided, it is announced, to supply both centres with resident priests; at present they arc served by the Dominican Fathers from Holy Cross, Leicester.
The church of St. Edward, in Aylestone Road, opened in 1921, is to be in the charge of the Rev. Cyril Horspool, from St. Joseph's, 011erton. The resident priest for St. Mary's, South Wigston, where Fr. Dunstan Sargent, 0.P., is at present in charge, will serve also Wigston Magna and Blaby.
