New law to hit Abortion figures consent rules are suppressed

A SENIOR barrister has said that a planned overhaul of Scottish sex crime law would lead to the age of consent rules being radically watered down. Edinburghbased Herbert Kerrigan said the Sexual Offences Bill would legalise at least 11 scenarios which at present are forbidden by law.
They involve oral sex between girls and boys between the ages of 13 and 16 and between boys of the same ages.
THE GOVERNMENT has suppressed statistics on late abortions of unborn children with minor disabilities and used anti-terrorist laws to stop pro-life campaigners attending an inquiry into publication.
The Department of Health is resisting attempts by the Information Commissioner to order the release of figures relating to termination of unborn babies with disabilities, according to the Sunday Telegraph.
