A PRAYER group dedicated to a woman who strove to rekindle devotion to Our Lady of Walsingham is growing in numbers, it was claimed this week.
Mgr George Tutto, of the London-based Hungarian Catholic Chaplaincy of Our Lady, said the prayer group meeting in the memory of Charlotte Boyd, credited with restoring the Slipper Chapel in Walsingham to Catholic ownership, has been declared a success, with more than 30 people turning out for its meetings held at Ealing Abbey in west London.
A special fund has been set up to cover the costs of the eventual transfer of Charlotte Boyd's earthly remains to Walsingham and for the hopeful process of beatification.
