Heim says 'hello' again JUST two months after leaving Britain,

the former Apostolic Pro-Nuncio, Archbishop Bruno Heim will return on October 20 from Italy to attend a meeting of the Camhridge University Heraldry Society of which he is president.
On the same day, Mass will be celebrated at Westminster Cathedral to mark the seventh n anniversary of the election of Pope John Paul II to the papacy.
But, in a break with tradition, the Mass will he presided over by the charge d'affaires at the Apostolic Nunciature, Mgr Rino Passigato.
Normally, the Pro-Nuncio would be the principal rant, hut
concelebrant, that position remains vacant, and, say sources, is unlikely to be filled for some time. Tipped in some Church circles to succeed Archbishop Heim is Mgr Karl-Josef 'Luther, known as a diplomatic trouble-shooter and currently Apostolic Pro
Nuncio to Uganda.
