Clerical Appointments

In the Diocese of Southwark it is announced that the. Rev. Michael Byrne, assistant priest at Beckenham, has been recalled to his own diocese, Elphin, and has been succeeded by the Rev. Joseph Houghton, lent by the Diocese of Derry. The Rev. Vincent Ryan, assistant priest at Portslade, has been transferred to •Plumstead; he is replaced at Portslade by the Rev. Thomas Murphy, of Worcester Park, to which latter parish the Rev. William Donoghue is transferred from Plumstead.
The Rev. Stanley Harrison has been appointed assistant priest at St. Thomas's, Fulham, S.W.1, and the Rev. John O'Sullivan assistant priest at Highbury, N.
