Mr. H. Ferguson. trainer of the Downside Settlement Boys' agree wtih him that boxing is one welter and middleweight champion, Boxing Club. Bermondsey, T quite of the finest sports in the world. years, in which time I was Irish 27. a letter on the noble sport sent I have also fought numerous British SIR.-Having read in the CATHO I have been boxing for about 20 champions including the present light-heavyweight champion, Don Cockell, and former champions Albert Finch, Dick Turpin, Vince Ha wk;ns and Ernie Roderick, and though I am no better off financially now, than when I started, I can honestly say that I love boxing as much now, as I did 20 years ago. and though I had to leave school when I was very young to look for work, through no fault of my dear old mother and father, God Bless them boxing has been an education to me. So I would not worry over those ignorant people if I were Mr. Ferguson, because he will find that such people have never taken part in any form of sport. PADDY ROCHE.
