MGR. WILLIAMS HAS OPERATION
His Grace Ilie Archbishop of Birmingham (11w Most Rev. T. L. Williams) underwent an operation to the leg in a private Birmingham Hospital on Saturday last, November 4.
The CATHOLIC HERALD is informed that the operation was completely successful and that His Grace is making good progress. He was persuaded to have surgical treatment to alleviate the great pain he has suffered from arthritis.
