Teenagers' problems

Sir,—Our home is not a 100 per cent Catholic home, in fact my husband is a pagan, though a God-fearing one. After being a lapsed Catholic for nearly 20 years, I have only come back to the faith for the last six years.
I have three teenage daughters educated in non-Catholic schools except for the last four years. The eldest is doing voluntary work in a Catholic mission in Africa. The second, one of the teachers tells me, is first class in her apostolic
work, which includes teaching catechism to children going to non-Catholic schools.
They are normal girls. getting up early during the week to be able to go to Mass of their own free will, but they also enjoy, and I mean enjoy, helping those less fortunate than themselves.
Yet, I would have said that both home and school had failed in this ease.
