Belguirn has recently acquired for the ancient art section of the Brusseis Royal Fine Arts Museum, a triptych by an anonymous artist, a contemporary of 14emling and perhaps a pupil of Roger Van den Weyden.
The "Triptych by the Bruges Master", which is already worldfamous, as it has been displayed at several big exhibitions, is dated July 27tb, 1473. Not only the dote is precise but other facts of its origin, for the left panel bears a coat of arms from which one can identify the donor, Jan de Witte, Burgomaster of Bruges.
