Claretian vocations day
13 February 2009
A group of parishioners in the Claretian parish of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in Hayes, Middlesex, are trying to promote and support a new vocations initiative.
In February and March there will be a national competition to encourage young people to make contact with members of religious congregations to interview them and then create a biography that they will submit as an entry to the competition.
At the end of April, to coincide with Vocation Sunday on May 3, there will be a four-day Vocation Expo which will offer people young and old the chance to explore the idea of vocation. It is intended that the expo will have exhibits looking at religious life, priesthood and married life.
