Bridges walk to aid handicapped

THE seventh "Cross the

Bridges of London" sponsored 20-mile walk to help severely handicapped young people, organised by REHAB, is being held on October 25 (from Kew Bridge to the Tower of London) and November 1 (from the Tower of London to Kew Bridge).

Each walker is asked to invite sponsors to give a small sum of money for each bridge crossed. Full details and the necessary forms for the walk are available from REHAB, Dept. C.B. 7 Tavistock House (South), Tavistock Square, London, W.C.1.

Money raised is being used to provide a technical training college for physically 'disabled at Liphook, Hampshire. Forty acres and buildings suitable for conversion have been bought so far by rehab, but many more thousands of pounds arc needed to equip the property.
