Two Cures at Lourdes

The cure has been announced of M. Rend Chatel, a French working man, who after a severe attack of lockjaw, the result of an injury, had remained with his left side paralysed, and had been awarded a 95 per cent. pension. After bathing five times in the Grotto his arm regained its power, and he was able to dress himself for the first time since his illness. He has completely regained the use of his arm, though the deformity remains in proof of the gravity of the disease.

Another cure is that of a French lady, who, suffering from a severe intestinal disease, has been restored to perfect health. An X-ray examination shows that all trace of inflammation has disappeared.
