Archbishop and Bishop going to Launceston

The Apostolic Delegate, Archbishop Godfrey. will be accompanied by the Bishop of Plymouth, Mgr. Grimshaw, when he presides at the annual pilgrimage in honour of Blessed Cuthbert Mayne first martyr of thc English seminaries-on Sunday afternoon, June 25, at Launceston, Cornwall. A procession of pilgrims will follow the route of the martyr's journey from the Castle to the gallows, where he refused the offer of his life if he would foreswear his allegiance to the Holy Father,

A novena of Masses will be said at the shrine from June 16, Feast of the Sacred Heart, to June 24, Feast of St. John the Baptist.

Petitions to be placed on the martyr's shrine during the novena may be sent to Fr. Charles White, C.R.L., The Presbytery, St. Stephen's Hill, Launceston.
