Open air Mass at Glastonbury

ABOUT 1,300 people are expected to take part in the annual Glastonbury pilgrimage this Sunday.

The pilgrimage will include a service on Glastonbury Tor, and a procession through the town with a statue of Our Lady of Glastonbury. To mark the 150th anniversary of the Immaculate Conception the theme is “Mary, Conceived Without Sin”. The pilgrimage will culminate with open air Mass in the ruins of Glastonbury Abbey, concelebrated by Bishop Declan Lang of Clifton and Bishop Tom Burns of the Forces.
