TOTALITARIAN CONSTITUTION
The Declaration and Covenant of U.N.O.'s Commission on Human Rights have been "so watered down as to be of little more value than the written Constitution of a Totalitarian.State."
This charge is made in the latest Sword of the Spirit leaflet on Human Rights which reviews the work of the last session of the Commission.
Its discussion, says the leaflet, turned mainly on the construction and phraseology of articles, " with a persistent tendency to introduce further limitations."
Thus an amendment to Article 6 submitted by the U.S.A., to be sent forward for approval in July, now allows " Legitimate medical and scientific experimentation in hospitals for the insane, with the consent of parent or guardian of the patient."
This, Says S.O.S., if adopted " would open a most dangerous loophole for abuses."
There is, moreover, no mention of God or the family and no statement of the right of associations to own property.
