BISHOP Seamus Cunningham of Hexham and Newcastle has urged Catholic parishes which are struggling financially to use Anglican and Methodist churches if they cannot afford to run their own church building. He made the comment in an article in the diocesan newspaper Northern Cross, saying that several churches had to be closed for health and safety reasons.
