The legislative groundvsork for a Church-State concordat in Poland was laid on May 17, sources added, when the Polish parliament approved a law governing its juridicial relations with the Church.
Such a concordat would he in addition to the bilateral convention on internal relations between Warsaw and the Holy See, drawn up by a joint governmental-ecclesiastical working party and still awaiting its final approval.
