Women and Youth Work

CALLING-UP MAY BE DEFERRED Women who are engaged at least 40 hours per month on Youth work may have a deferment of calling-up if they come within the scope of the National Service Acts, as the result of a recent Board of Education order. A similar order in respect of men was made on March 12, and was explained in more detail in this paper at the time.

Conditions and mode of procedure to obtain deferment are similar both for women and men.
