CURATE AT ST. JOHN'S, BATH More than eighty priests from many parts of the diocese were present at the Requ:em Mass on Friday at the ProCathedral, Clifton, for Fr. Timothy Sheridan, who died last week in Bath. The Bishop of Clifton presided, and the Celebrant was Canon Hackett, parish priest at St. John's, Bath. The Abbot of Downside was also present, as well as many worshippers from St. John's, Bath, where Fr. Sheridan was curate.

The interment took place at the cemetery of the Holy Soul's, Arno's Vale, Bristol.

The death has occurred at Bridgetown, Barbadoes, of Mr. Percy Russell, one of the leading Catholics of the West Indies, and a generous supporter of the Church. A native of England, he was educated at Stonyhurst and was headmaster of the Catholic Grammar School at Castries, St. Lucia, before joining a firm of sugar and shipping brokers. Fr. H.
