Lady Sempill—Caecilia Alice Forbes —(nee Dunbar-Kilburn) gave birth to a daughter on May 4 at Oxford. Lard and Lady Sempill were married on February I, 1941. Lady Sempill embraced the Faith in 1939, being instructed and received by Father Valentin, of the Church of the Holy Redeemer at Chelsea. (Father Valentin is a descendant on his mother's side of James IV, King of the Scots, by whose side the first Lord Sempill was slain at the Battle of Flodden in I513) Lord Sempill's first wife, who died in 1935, was the only daughter of the late Sir John Lavery, LA,
