Play FINE AND DANDY

LESLIE Henson and Douglas Byng on the same programme and in the same show means some kind of compromise. This may account for the fact that good as Fine and Dandy is it is not a patch on Up and Doing. Both comedians have obviously tried to bring two opposite types of humour into line and the result is not altogether happy.

But the Brains Trust burlesque is certainly a high spot, in which the team work is perfect and the general decor of the whole production is on a
