LAUNCESTON PILGRIMAGE

Honouring Bl. Cuthbert

-D !SHOP RESTLEAUX will lead -LP the annual pilgrimage to Launceston in honour of Blessed Cuthhert Mayne. priest and martyr, on Sunday, June 24.

The sermon will he preached by the Apostolic Delegate. Archbishop O'Hara, who is expected to meet the Mayor and council afterwards at a reception in the Guildhall.

Pilgrims will gather at the Castle Green at 3.15 p.m. Pontifical Benediction will he given by the Bishop and the Apostolic Delegate will preside.

Blessed Cuthbert was martyred at Launceston in 1577. He was beatified by Pope Leo XIII together with SS. John Fisher and Thomas More and other English Martyrs in 1886.
