In London there will be three opportunities to attend Mass in the Byzantine Rite during the Week of prayer. University students are repeating their successful venture of two years ago and are again arranging for the Liturgy to be sung in Slavonic by Fr. C. Sipovich, M.1.C., at St. Etheldreda's, Ely Place, at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, January 20. The Marian House choir will again take part.
The Society of St. John Chrysostom, recently revived in order to acquaint English Catholics with Eastern Christianity. will also arrange for the Liturgy to he celebrated one evening during the Octave at SS. Peter and Paul, Palace Street, S.W.1.
As already announced, Fr. Paul Maluga, C.SS.R., Vicar General for Ukrainians, will offer Mass in his Rite in Westminster Cathedral on Tuesday January 19, at 6 p.m., feast of the Epiphany in the Ukrainian Calendar.
