town hall
Alderman Maurice Burns, Deputy Mayor of Hornsey, London, went to the Hornsey Town Hall to present Fr. Bede Coulthard, C.R.L., parish priest of St. Peter in Chains, Stroud Green, with a cheque for £165.
This was a gift from parishioners to Fr. Coulthard on his silver jubilee. He has been at St. Peter's for 18 years and was responsible for St. Peter's primary school for 220 children—built and maintained entirely without State aid.
Abbot Aloysius Smith, C.R.L., until recently General of the order, travelled from Cornwall for the celebrations.
