Pope's letter to jailed Archbishop angers Israelis A personal letter

from Pope Paul to Archbishop Hilarion Calmed, former head of the Greek Catholic Church in Jerusalem, who Is in prison for helping terrorists, has angered The Pope was said by one newspaper to have urged the Archbishop to remain firm for the cause for which he had sacrificed himself. The letter was apparently in reply to an appeal by Archbishop Capucci for help in securing his release.
