ARCHBISHOP Vincent Nichols of Westminster has called on the media to help to dispel the “ignorance of the true character of religious belief in this country today”.
Speaking at the media Mass on Tuesday he said: “Such ignorance can lead people to think uncritically that religious faith and practice is a problem. The evidence suggests otherwise, that it has a positive role to play.”
