`Cred-o—wit-trall my -Heart'

YESTERDAY (May 6) marked a somewhat unusual Diamond Jubilee in the world of religious life. It was celebrated by Sister Margaret Mary of the Sisters of Our Lady of Grace and Compassion.

It was unusual because although Sister Margaret Mary has been a nun for 60 years, the congregation to which she belongs dates only from 1959.

What happened was that she was an Anglican nun for over 40 years before becoming a Catholic and joining the Sisters. She tells her remarkable story in a pamphlet specially put out by the order to mark the anniversary. It is called Credo with all my Heart.

The Congregation — whose headquarters are at Holy Cross Priory , ( ross-in-Hand, Heathfield, Sussex — look after the aged and infirm. Anyone interested in the community's events and general activities is invited to write to the Mother I()undress, Sister Mary Carson, at the above address.
