THE GUILD of Our Lady of Ransom has changed the format of its annual public meeting following criticisms that called its procedures 'a farce'.
Last week's meeting was limited to a card of speakers, including Cardinal Hume and Bishop Ward of Menevia.
Major Henry Haydon, who raised questions last month about the Guild's administration, welcomed the dropping of an invitation to members to approve the charity's accounts, a task already performed by the Executive Committee.
