In Madagascar there is a venerable missionary priest, Fr. Villele, S.J., who has now spent fifty out of his eighty-five years in work in the missions; nearly the whole of that time, i.e., for forty-eight years, he has been in Madagascar. The jubilee was marked by great local rejoicings. Despite his age, Fr, Villele still looks after a foundling hospital which he built at Bel-Ai r.
