IT seems to me that your television critic, Mr. H. R. F. Keating, in his piece "A muffled voice still speaks" (February 21) is somewhat exceeding his brief by passing a value judgment on Cardinal Suenens' book which on his own admission he has not read. -First of all he gets the tide wrong. It is called "Co-responsibility in the Church." not "Co-responsibility." He then goes on to say: "But the book (which I have not read) was plainly no direct and easy work." This, of course, is a matter of opinion, hut surely one which should only be published by those who have read the book, Our own view is that it is a very direct and easy work, that the word co-responsibility is surely one with which CATHOLIC HERALD readers can be expected to cope without undue difficulty, and that prospective readers should not be put off in this way by this selfconfessedly uninformed criticism.
