Prom the description of the activities of the Ealing Forum (May 31) it certainly seems to be a very active organization catering for senior citizens with time to spare. However, from a Catholic standpoint, it should he noted that there is a crying need for people to give some time to voluntary work such as help at homes for disabled persons who are unable to do anything for
themselves and even have to be fed.
Many devout churchgoers reject such distasteful duties but if any Catholics can find time to attend cultural activities morning and afternoons for five days a week then a little heartsearching should he in order. W. Atkinson 32 Church Gardens, Ealing, W5.
