Sir.---A child in my class told me that he did not ,00 to Mass last Sunday because he watched the children's Mass on TV. He was convinced that he had fulfilled the obligation of " hearing Mass." I am of the opinion that certain adults, ignorant of the Church's teaching, may also have the same idea
" Catholic Teacher."
Watching Mass on TV or hearing the Mass on radio does not constitute what theologians call " moral presence." Hence neither fulfils the Sunday precept.-EDITOR, " C.I1."
