CELEBRATIONS to mark the centenary of St. Mary Help of Christians Church, Market Street, Holyhead, will be held on Sunday, April 16.
Bishop Petit of Menevia, will preside at High Mass in the church, which has a thousand parishioners. The celebrant will be the Provincial of the Oblates, Rev. Fr. Patrick McDonnell, O.M.I. Two former P.P.t-Rev. Fr, Hughes, now of Jersey, and Rev. Fr, Maher, now of London -will be Deacon and Sub-Deacon. The Holyhead parish is staffed by four Oblate Fathers and the Superior is Rev. Lawrence. McGlinehey.
