AUCUSTINIANS IN THE ESCORIAL

Not Massacred

On various occasions it has been given out (not in the Catholic Herald) that the Augustinian Fathers in the Escorial, near Madrid, have been massacred by the Reds.

It now appears that, though these priests are in prison, they are still alive.

Naturally their condition gives rise to grave anxieties but the truth will prove a relief to all Catholics.
