The Manchester branch of the CathoI Social Guild have announced that a ne study circle has been formed for Cathol men at the General Post Office, Manche ter, with Mr. E. Hanton, of Stockport, secretary.
Continuing their programme of lectun during the winter season the Guild ha' arranged for Mr. J. Ford to speak c " The Church and Industry," at St. Mary' Eccles, on Sunday, at 8 p.m. On Wedne day next, Mr. A. McAlpine will lecture o " The Church and War," at the Hol Name, Manchester, at 9 p.m., whilst o Friday next, " The Church andCon munism," will be the subject of a lectut by Mr. H. Hartt, at St. Francis's, Gortoi at 8 p.m.
