MORE than 30 heads of schools attended the Catholic Secondary Head-teachers' Course at the Pastoral Centre, London Colney, from Monday to Wednesday this week.
Bishop David Konstant, the Bishop in Central London, opened the course by giving a talk on the purpose and structure of Westminster's Education Commission.
He said its work was not. merely concerned with schools but with people of all ages especially those with special needs.
Mgr Kevin Nichol .s, the National Adviser on Religious Education, stressed the difficulty of assessing spiritual growth. He said there was a movement away from personal faith to sociological faith, which pointed to the urgent need for strengthening the roots of personal faith.
