THEY ALL WENT TO HIGHGATE..

WHEN Archbishop Godfrey
went to St. Joseph's, Highgate. on Sunday to preside at High Mass for the centenary celebrations, he was-by coincidencewearing the same ring that Cardinal Wiseman was wearing when he gave permission for the original Passionist church to be built in Highgate 100 years ago.
Sunday was the final day of the celebrations. The Archbishop blessed the new Lady altar bought by parishioners in honour of the combined centenary of Lourdes and their parish. Fr. Ignatius. C.F., preached at the evening service.
On Tuesday last week. Bishop Petit of Menevia, who was horn in the Highgate parish, sang evening Pontifical High Mass and preached. On Thursday. other old Highgate boys who are now priests came from Rome. Paris, Sweden and many parts of England for High Mass presided over by Bishop Craven,
