Work is expected to start soon on the first Catholic church to be built in Prestonpans, East Lothian, Scotland, since the 16th Century. It will stand near the famous Preston Tower. At present the 2,000 strong congregation is served by the Passionist Fathers in the Pares•hial hall. It is hoped that the church will be completed by the end of 1964.
