CATHOLIC PAPERS IN MILITARY HOSPITALS

Ste,—I am appealing to you on behalf of Catholic troops in hospital. At present in hospital myself, I was greatly surprised by the demand for a Catholic paper. My copies of the CATHOLIC HERALD and the Universe were passed round the ward, read by Catholics and non-Catholics alike. Our chaplains visit the hospitals weekly, but I feel sure that like the visit of our chaplains, the Catholic papers would be so welcome.

So would it be possible for the local parish priest to arrange with his people to return copies of Catholic papers to the church, to be forwarded to the local military hospital? This at least would be one form of Catholic Action.

(Gurosea) BARRY HODGMAN.

[We hope that in parishes where there is a military hospital the parish priest will consider the possibility of arranging this simple form of crpostolate.---EtnTOR.
