Christian Action rally : Catholics will speak

Bishop Craven, representing Cardinal Griffin. and Mr. Richard Stokes, Minister of Works, will he among the Catholics on the platform at a public meeting organised by Christian Action, which is to be held in the Central Hall, Westminster, at 7 p.m. on April 30.

The object is to encourage Christians to play a more active part in a drive to think out what democracy is and to work for a positive programme for a democratic way of life based upon Christian principles. The Lord Chancellor, Lord Jowitt. will preside. Two Tay guests from the Continent. a Catholic and a Protestant, will be among the speakers. Further information may be obtained from Canon L.
