Priest arranges school coach

CANON FRANCIS DAVYS, parish priest of St. Elizabeth's Church, Richmond, Surrey, has arranged for a coach so that about 45 children living in the Ham area can attend the new St. Elizabeth's primary school, more than three miles away in Queen's Road, Richmond, which opens next week.

It replaces the former school building in Park Lane, Richmond. The borough council, while willing to pay children's bus fares, refused to provide special transport.
