The photograph on the front page 9f your issue of April 21 implies in its caption that the student concerned preached in clown's garb at a Mass at this seminary.
I wish to inform you that this is quite erroneous and at no time has any student here preached or talked or acted in clown's garb at any Mass celebrated in this seminary.
The student concerned gave a talk dressed as a clown in a classroom at a gathering of youth. This was quite apart and divorced from any celebration of the Mass. (Mgr) James P.
