SIR'Your recent correspondent. Mr. Harris, who wanted a copy of Fr. Brandi's reply to the Anglican Archbishop's answer to Apostolicae Currie has probably already been satisfied by one of your readers or has obtained a copy through the CenInd Library.
But surely such a book is unnecessary, as the Established Church has in fact confirmed the Papal decision by joining on equal terms with nonconformist churches in the formation of the Church of South India the all-embracing intention sit such Church, by disallowing doctrinal differences as a bar to full communion with itself, being a direct denial of the Catholic idea of a priesthood. And the proposed Church of Ceylon similarly demonstrates the untenability of Anglican claims.
