JETS TO WELCOME LEGATE

WHEN Cardinal Agagianian flies into Dublin neat month as Papal Legate to the Patrician Year Congress (June 17-25), an escort of jet planes wit fly out to welcome him.

Cardinal Godfrey will be attending the Congress with Cardinal Doepfner. of Berlin: Cardinal Feltin, of Paris; Cardinal Leger, of Montreal; Cardinal linen° y Monreal, of Seville; Cardinal Marella, of Rome; and Cardinal Godfrey.

Also attending will be Bishop Fulton Sheen, Auxiliary of New

York; Bishop Theas, of Lourdes; Archbishop Hurley, Durban; Archbishop O'Donnell, Brisbane; and Archishop Knox, Papal Nuncio to India.

A lighted candle will burn in O'Connell Street, Dublin, fur the duration of the Congress.

A Missionary Exhibition in the Mansion House, Dublin, will illustrate the Irish Missionary effort throughout the world. Noteworthy here will be the Exhibition Stand of Sierra Leone.

dence, Sierre Leone covers an area exactly the size of the Republic of Ireland. Its Catholic population, however, is only 19,500. Irish missionaries serving Sierra Leone include the Holy Ghost Fathers, From Kinunage; the Sisters of St. Joseph of Cluny, from Mount Sackville; and the Missionary Sisters of the Holy Rosary, from Killeshandra.

One of the most active lay apostolates in Sierra Leone is the Legion of Mary.
