Palmar de Troya

I was pleased to see thatyour edition of February 6 carried a long-overdue warning about the shrine at Palmar de Troya. This shrine has a great attraction for pilgrims who spend their days and nights in prayer and penance believing that apparitions are taking place.
They are told that the Eternal Father, Our Lord. Our Lady and Padre Pin have appeared to a number of seers, the main seer being a man named Clemente Dominguez Gomez, Supposedly Our Lady is asking for the Tridentine Mass and her messages correspond with messages she is said to be giving in Bayside, New York — that Communists within the Vatican are drugging the Pope, and that the skill of plastic surgery has created a duplicate of Pope Paulohence. we Catholics are actually following the direction of the "plastic Pope". The messages go on to say that we must make a commitment to Palmar to carry on the true Faith, and that eventually this true Faith will even have to go underground.
This shrine. then, is a haven for those Catholics who find it difficult to accept the recent changes within the Church. and those who are anxious to maintain the Tridentine Mass readily accept the "messages" and the existence of the "plastic Pope" gives them freedom of conscience to commit themselves to Palmer.
In my opinion this is only the "red herring" of Palmer de Troya. The pilgrims are so busy carrying on the traditional Tridentine Mass that they do not realise that they are being used by people dabbling in Black Magic. and 1 am sure that this cult is financed by the Communists. Communists have taken advantage of the changes within the Church to infiltrateit and attack it with its own weapons, and its long arm stretches across the Atlantic to Bayside to assure people that the messages must be true because Our I ady is saying similar things in New York. At some future date I am sure that Palmar will be the seat of an Anti-Pope.
And would Padre Pio. who 1 am sure was in constant communication with Heaven during his lifetime. support this theory about the Tridentine Mass when he always followed the teachings of Rome to the letter?
