LONDON WI'
7ckyrams. VANHEEMS. WESDO. LONDON These four children were all alone in the house when the N.S.P.C.C. Inspector called. They were living in filth and squalor. One ohild of 5 had acute tonsilitis. The eldest child. aged 10, was badly bitten by fleas. The other two were fagged. dirty and verminous. The whole house was in very had condition and the children's bedding was smelly and insanitary. Asa result of action by the N.S.P.C.C. both parents were convicted and the children removed to a place of safety. This is only one of thousands of cases of cruelty and neglect that the N.S.P.C.C. deals with in the course of a year. You can help the N.S.P.C.C. to help children like this. Even a very small donation can do an immense amount of good, The N.S.P.C.C. is not State aided
and depends entirely on voluntary contributions.
